School Districts

District-level data, sortable by column except Trajectory (a visual, not a value to rank by). All 235 current-boundary districts, unfiltered. A few fields (recovered_from_covid, data_status, current_boundary_since) aren't shown here; see a district's own detail page for those. The district rankings are the simplified, filterable view of the same data; this page is the complete-transparency one.

Notes icons flag three caveats worth checking before trusting a row's numbers: a broken line for a thin baseline (fewer than 6 years of pre-EFA data), a diamond for a boundary change, and an arrow sized to its magnitude for a notable trend reversal. Hover a mark for its specific meaning. Trajectory sparklines cover 2013-2025 for most districts; for the 7 whose current boundary postdates 2013, the line starts at that boundary year instead, since earlier years belonged to a different, smaller district. Baseline CAGR and EFA CAGR are each era's average yearly rate of change, accounting for compounding, not the same as a simple total percentage. COVID drop is percent change from the district's 2019-20 enrollment (the last year before the pandemic) to its lowest point during the COVID shock (usually negative, but not always). EFA change is the simple total percentage change across the EFA era, not an annualized rate like CAGR.
